Chase to hire 200 in Tampa Bay area

Chase plans to hire 200 new employees in the Tampa Bay area to work in bank branches and in auto lending.

The hiring will take place over the next two months, the bank said in a statement.

More than 30 auto loan collectors will be hired at two job fairs from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 26 and Aug. 4 at 4900 Memorial Highway in Tampa.

An additional 180 new employees will be hired to work in Bay area bank branches as managers, personal bankers and tellers.

Chase has more than 600 jobs available in Florida, the statement said.

Chase is the U.S. consumer and commercial banking business of JPMorgan Chase & Co.(NYSE: JPM). It has more than 15,000 employees and 280 branches statewide, including about 50 offices in the Tampa Bay area.
